The Hospice

Our Services

Angel Wings Hospice aims to revolutionize safe access, provision and delivery of hospice services to the community through innovative Telehealth and Telehospice technology.

Our Inpatient Center, is a 14-bed unit in (Ondiri) Kikuyu, that provides inpatient hospice and palliative care to patients approaching the end of life. The Hospice will provide warm, compassionate, highly skilled care, enhancing the patient’s quality of life throughout the course of their illness.

The Need

Currently, there are only four inpatient hospice centers in the entire country. Many cancer patients in Kenya must travel as far as 600km to access treatment. There are an estimated 47,737 new cases of cancer in Kenya each year, with a mortality rate of 32,937 annually, about 90 deaths a day. As such, there is a great need for compassionate and competent hospice and palliative care.
